New Horizons Terms and Cancellation Policies

 

Terms and Conditions—Open Enrollment Standby

  • If a student is 15 minutes late, they risk losing their seat to a standby student.
  • If a student is 30 minutes late or more, they will need to reschedule. A no-show fee will apply.
  • Students are ultimately responsible for confirming themselves.
  • Retakes are enrolled as a Stand-By. The student must bring previously issued courseware, and additional fees may apply (LMS fee, LOD fee, etc.).

Terms and Conditions—Open Enrollment Cancellation/Rescheduling

The following cancellation terms apply for the training sessions:

  • Notification of cancellation outside of 10 business days in advance - no charge
  • Notification 10 business days or less - 100% of the services scheduled will be charged

All cancellations must be received in writing.

Terms and Conditions—Open Enrollment No Show

Failure to notify of student's intent to cancel will result in the company being charged in-full for the class. If the class was paid for with coupons or Learning Credits, they will NOT be returned to the coupon pool.

Terms and Conditions—Dedicated Class, Power Hour Class, Onsite Class, or Room Rental Cancellation/Rescheduling

All cancellations must be received in writing to New Horizons to avoid penalty.

The following cancellation terms apply for the training sessions:

If a class is paid for with coupons or learning credits, those coupons or learning credits will be forfeited.

Learning Credits Terms and Conditions

 

  • Learning Credits are redeemable at the rate of $1 per Learning Credit based on the retail price as listed on www.nhls.com. Learning Credits can only be used at one of our NHLS locations in MI, OH, IL, CT, MA, NH, RI, NY, PA or NJ.
  • All Learning Credits expire one year after invoice date.

Training Coupons Terms and Conditions

  • Get one day of training for each application or technical training coupon purchased. Coupons are valid for Open Enrollment Classes.
  • All Coupons expire one year after invoice date.
  • Some premium classes may require more than one coupon per day of training.

Terms and Conditions—Online Anytime (OLA)

Online Anytime (OLA) keys are activated upon receipt of payment, and are valid for one (1) year. Once a key has been activated, it cannot be cancelled. Keys are valid only for the individual on the invoice, and are non-transferrable. Enrollment begins on date of invoice and ends twelve (12) months from invoice date.
