New Horizons Terms and Cancellation Policies

 

  • Launch button does not show up until 30 minutes before class time
  • Please make sure you have agreed to and accepted the conditions to participate in the class by checking the green check next to the agreement. If the launch button is not showing, click on the agreement and accept.

Please note: If you are more than 30 minutes late our policy is to mark you as a 'No Show' and we may have to reschedule you to a new date.

If your class is designed to use digital courseware, the code for the digital courseware is located in the class login area under Courseware Notes. (Please review the steps listed below.)

NOTE: You will not get a green check mark next to View Courseware Notes.

  1. To access your courseware log into your account, go to the My Training link at the top, or Click Current Training
  2. Under Current Training select " Redeem Training Key" or the class name
  3. Your digital courseware access codes and instructions will be listed..

Yes. Because of the tremendous advantages of taking courses in an interactive online environment, we can offer the vast majority of our Online LIVE (OLL) courses as "Guaranteed-to-Run" (GTR). This means that your class will NOT cancel, and you can be assured that it will be available when you need it.

Online LIVE (OLL) is instructor-led training delivered virtually, giving you the freedom to attend class from anywhere—at home, at the office, or at a New Horizons location. To help prepare your environment for your OLL course, download the appropriate detailed guides here.

You can purchase training directly on our website. Once you have found the class you are interested in, select “Add to Cart.” You will be taken to the Shopping Cart page to review your selections. When you are ready, click “Purchase” to continue to the login page. Once you are logged in, complete the form to submit your purchase.

If you need to take a course that is not on our schedule or not available at the right time, we will work with you to find the best solution. Contact your designated sales representative, live chat with us, call us at 866-702-3301

We accept Visa, American Express, Master Card, Invoice/Purchase Orders, Subscriptions, Microsoft Software Assurance Training Vouchers (SATVs), or Cisco Learning Credits (CLCs).

Your credit card will not be charged until your order has been confirmed.

After submitting your purchase online, you will receive an email confirming your order submission; this is not your enrollment confirmation. Once we review your order and confirm course availability, you will receive a second email with a transaction code confirming your enrollment. Please note that we will not charge your credit card until your enrollment is confirmed. Please allow up to 24 hours for a confirmation.

If you need to change or cancel an online purchase, call the center directly to speak to a New Horizons representative. We are happy to make any changes or cancellations in accordance with our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

We ask that you notify New Horizons more than ten (10) business days in advance of your scheduled class, should you need to cancel or reschedule your reservation. This will secure transfer or refund of your tuition. If a client chooses to cancel less than ten (10) business days prior to the scheduled training date, the client acknowledges responsibility to pay a fee representing 100% of the total amount due and an additional $50.00 no show fee will be incurred. Companies who are redeeming prepaid coupons for classes will be charged one voucher per day of class for canceling less than ten (10) business days prior to the scheduled training date. Vouchers or Coupons are valid for 1 year from date of purchase.

We realize that from time-to-time students may be late for class. However, to ensure the overall quality of the class delivery for all students, please note the following:

  • If a student arrives or launches their Online Live Class more than 15-minutes late and there are students with a standby status, the seat will be reassigned to the standby student.
  • If a student arrives or launches their Online Live Class more than 30-minutes late we will reschedule the student in a class that fits their schedule. The full-cost of the class will be forfeited at this point. In the event this happens, we do offer free-retakes for most of our classes. Talk to your account executive to see which classes are excluded. Additional fees may be assessed for labs.

When canceling or rescheduling classes on our public schedule, notify New Horizons as soon as possible at 866-702-3301 or via email: info@nhclc.com.

Notification of cancellation or rescheduling must be provided to New Horizons 15-business days prior to class. When cancelled or rescheduled in 15 business days or less, a fee equivalent to 50% of the published course price will be incurred. The new reschedule date must be provided within 12-months of the original scheduled invoice date.

Due to the specialty nature of this class only one-reschedule will be accommodated, regardless of the number of days. After this the entire class price is forfeited. If a pre-paid training account is utilized the price of the class is deducted from the account.

When canceling or rescheduling classes paid for with Microsoft Software Assurance Training Vouchers notify New Horizons as soon as possible at 866-702-3301 or via email: info@nhclc.com.

Notification of cancellation or rescheduling must be provided to New Horizons 10-business days prior to class. The full retail cost of the class is required to be paid if the course wasn’t cancelled or rescheduled in less than 10 business days prior to the course date, or the student does attend class. If a pre-paid training account is available to be utilized, the price of the class is deducted from the account.

Online Anytime (OLA) keys are activated upon receipt of payment, and are valid for one (1) year. Once a key has been activated, it cannot be cancelled. Keys are valid only for the individual on the invoice, and are non-transferrable. Enrollment begins on date of invoice and ends twelve (12) months from invoice date.

At times students do not show up for classes. The company will be charged in-full for the class when this result occurs. If a pre-paid training account is available to be utilized, the price of the class is deducted from the account.

In the event of a no-show please work with your account executive to determine if rescheduling is an option.

All sales are final. If you received a discount during a promotion and a portion of the agreement is cancelled, then the remainder of the agreement will default to retail prices and billed accordingly.

  • Failure to pay will result in cancellation of any current and future company enrollments and the case will be sent to collections.
  • “Learning Credit Pools” are valid for 12 months from invoice date, and are non-transferable.
  • Subscriptions are limited to the individual on the invoice, start on the date of invoice and are non-transferable.
  • Premium classes will pull from “Learning Credits Pools” for enrollment.
  • The client understands that signed order agreements shall be an agreement between New Horizons and their company, and as a qualified signature for said company, is responsible for the tuition and shall make all personnel/employees aware that refunds will be made to the company.
  • All reasonable discounts per New Horizons are void if portions of the above training are cancelled. New Horizons guarantees only those services set forth in the agreement.
  • Client agrees not to hire any New Horizons employee for (1) year after the completion of the training ordered an Order Agreement.

Privacy Policy

Once the evaluation at the end of class is complete, you will be sent a digital copy of your certificate.

If you do not receive a certificate within one business day of the class completion, please check your Spam filter and/or junk mail. If it is not there, please contact registrar@nhclc.com.
