Course Overview

This course shows users how to integrate OneNote with Outlook, teaching them how to create and share notes and to-do lists easily with their contacts so everyone can stay organized.

Who Should Attend

This course is ideal for users who want to help their organization communicate effectively and stay on top of things. Students will be most comfortable if they have at least basic experience with both OneNote and Outlook.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to set up Notebooks, share and send OneNote content to others, work with Tasks, and manage Outlook Meetings with OneNote.

Course Outline

1 - Lessons

  • Setting Up a Notebook - Learn to create Notebooks, add and delete sections and pages, and add text to Notebooks.
  • Sharing and Sending OneNote Content - Learn to share Notebooks, send Notebook pages, and send or link to OneNote from Outlook.
  • Working with Tasks - Learn to create Outlook tasks from OneNote, locate Outlook tasks in OneNote, Update tasks in Outlook, and open Notebooks from Outlook tasks.
  • Managing Outlook Meetings with OneNote - Learn to insert Outlook meeting details into Notebooks, and take and share meeting notes.
